South Korea permit the installation of hydrogen fuel cells at gas stations

The South Korean National Fire Agency has announced the installation of hydrogen fuel cells at gas stations is now legal.

Effective from Friday (June 16), the announcement follows an amendment notice to the detailed standards of the Act of the Safety of Hazardous Substances.

Gas stations in the country were previously prohibited from installing fuel cells, but now the notice has established crucial safety standards for the installation.
